Renita Wolf is a financial expert who partners with CEOs, executives and entrepreneurs to define and implement business growth and operational improvement strategies. She has global experience in financial management, corporate strategy, operations, mergers and acquisitions, organization restructuring and technology implementation.
Previously she served as vice president and area chief financial officer of Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA, Inc. where she provided leadership in the areas of strategic business development, growth initiatives, financial services and real estate. Her finance duties included financial reporting, financial planning and analysis and financial operations.
Renita’s accomplishments include overseeing acquisition valuation, due diligence and integration. She also successfully integrated financial operations associated with 13 technology companies with 34 international subsidiaries valued at $1 billion. Under her leadership, her team reduced integration proceedings from one year to less than 90 days while complying with US GAAP and international accounting standards. These acquisitions resulted in increased shareholder value due to cost savings and market share growth.
She left the technology sector to join Wells Fargo, leveraging her strategic planning know-how, business acumen, no-nonsense approach to problem solving and quality outcomes. Previously Renita was chief financial officer for SRC Computers Inc. and corporate controller for Cray Computer Corporation. She began her career as a financial analyst with Honeywell International Inc.
Renita is a sought after speaker on entrepreneurship and corporate finance. Her articles have been featured in Strategic Finance, Financial Executive, Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) Exchange and NAWBO One. She is also a member of Financial Executives International (FEI).
She is an active community volunteer and serves on the Executive Committee for the Girl Scouts of Colorado Board of Directors. Renita also serves on the Grant Due Diligence Review Committee for the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Advanced Industries Accelerator Program. Lastly, she serves as a career-coaching mentor for the University of Colorado, College of Business to prepare students to enter the workforce as confident, competent and ethical professionals.
Renita holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Colorado, and a Master’s in Global Studies from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
